If your HP printer is indeed an AppleTalk printer, I suggest you try a Farallon iPrint LT adapter which will allow you to connect it to the Ethernet port on your Mac or to an Ethernet Hub or Router if you are running a small Ethernet network. If your printer is NOT AppleTalk, you might try using the cheaper Farallon iPrint SL adapter. I see a number of these up for auction on eBay (www.ebay.com) right now. Just do a keyword search using "iPrint" to find these auctions and learn more about the product.
