Can the Printer accept an HP JetDirect card taht will allow enet from within the printer? They pop up fairly often on ebay also. Or a Parrallele to USB cable from RadioShack, CircuitCity, etc...
On fortunately no. We have an HP 5MP at the school I help out at. I looked into it and you can't add an Ethernet interface.
