Hi Dale, iMacers, eMacers:
Did you or your friend have any success with the NewSoft OCR software  
that's included? I don't have any need for a slide scanner so I'm not  
really interested in that feature, though it is good to know that it  
does a good job if I ever have a need for it. The bundled Photoshop  
Elements 2.0 is the reason that I'm looking at the 2400 instead of the  
1670.
