Does anybody know whether the voltage on the backup battery (Lithium size 1/2AA - 3.6V) has to be 3.6V or could I do with a standard Photo battery, which is 3.0V ?
Reason for asking is that the .6 version of the battery costs about twice as much as the best offer for Photo 3.0, and I feel like I am being ripped off when having to pay 16-17 USD for one small element ;-)
Sorry, nothing less than 3.6V will do.
Hint: have you tried Froogle? WeLoveMacs.com seems to be selling em for $12ish ...
