OK, folks, I've done it. I have placed my order for the new iMac. They won't be shipping before Sept. 23rd, so I have time to do some reading. I am jumping from OS 9.2 into Panther. Can anybody offer a suggestion for which is the single best resource for a newbie jumping into OS X for the first time, and that being the more advanced Panther? At the moment I am considering Pogue's OS X: The Missing Manual, Panther edition or LeVitus's Mac OS X Panther for Dummies. Thanks, Barbara
