So the question is, why did it not use the Ethernet cable, and how do I transfer files from Windows XP to Panther via Ethernet cable?
Because windows is an utterly stupid OS, that said I do think there should be a function in OS X that when as cable is plugged in, it asks you if you want to use that instead of airport considering its faster. Nevermind, I _think_ all you need to do is make sure the wireless interface is disabled in Control Panel - Network Connections and make sure the ethernet it on, then just try again. I don't know why it would choose the wireless over the ethernet, or vice versa.
Thats all I can think of, Its been a while since I used Winblows...thankfully.
