What parts of Mac OS 9 do you miss in Mac OS 10? I've added a lot of "9" features back into "10" using third-party apps: Apple Menu, Application Menu, Windowshade, Sounds, Trash Can on the desktop where it belongs.

Kill the dock...Exterminate it.
I treat the dock like the Control Strip
Return the Application Menu to the right side of the Menu Bar.
X-Assist does this.
Put the trash can on the desktop wherever I want it to be.

Let me change to a desktop pattern like those in the Macintosh Nine install disk.
That might be possible with Shapeshifter.
When I hit the key combination Command-Shift-3 I should have a new PICT image of what my screen looks like at the moment..No PDF unless I tell it to give me a PDF.

I should not see any stupid little icons in the head area of a window. All of these features should be user selectable.
I don't see any in mine.
