    Thanks to Jack Russell and Dennis Swaney for their input.

Something must be amiss, for when I tried the "General Preferences" tab, it
did NOT have a box to check for actual fonts for the font menu.  I was using
AW 6.2.7, but  upgraded to 6.2.9 today.  But even after the upgrade I didn't
find the "actual fonts" as a choice when I went to general preferences.

No doubt the solution is something really simple. But it still eludes me.

It's evident that I'm not a member of MENSA.
