Hi, How much RAM? You may want to increase it. How much memory is assigned to Appleworks? You may want to increase it, too. I have an iMac g3 DV SE 400mz (no upgrades) w/512 ram and use OS 9.2.2. I happily have AppleWorks, I.E., Outlook Express, and, Photoshop, open all at once. Cheers, Kate
