You could also get a USB or FireWire to SCSI converter. This would be a little more "plug and play" than taking apart the SCSI drive and re-casing it, but you would need to make sure that the adapter was compatible with your iMac and its OS, and that the converter had the same type of SCSI connector as your hard drive.
I purchased a USB-SCSI Adapter bt it is not recognized in system 9.2.2. nor is it recognized in 10.3.5
Anyone there withexperience with the Iomega SCSI-USB adapter? I would like to get in contact with him
