Error messages are 2,3 and 7 that I recall... I
will need to have it freeze up again to get a hold
on what is happening exactly. Of course now that I
want it to stop, it is chugging right along.

Aha... Thank you Dan and Miche for the info about
the OS grabbing/allocating more memory as needed.
I see that it does change: it has said at various
times today 32.7 out of 32.7, and 33.4 out of
33.4... Still it seems that there is no wiggle
room for it!
