I use VLC, it opens a variety of different types of files I get from various clients, most from the PC side.
Mark, if you paid money for those reading-comprehension classes, get a refund. :)
The OP was asking about playing AVI files in *OS 9,* which he called "classic mac." This is not the same thing as Classic.
