It will not work with OS X except in classic and although I now have Phtoshop Elements, I really miss using this app. as it is very simple and straightforward.
However, I would encourage you to help him upgrade with more memory and bigger HD. The g3 is so easy to upgrade. Then, on to Panther 10.3.8. and maybe even Tiger.
