First, I noticed a couple of holes in one end (manufactured holes, not ones there by accident), one of them looked like an insert point for an antenna. This is where it hit me: my iBook has an antenna which runs through the ibook, why wouldn't the iMac need the same? Do i need to buy an antenna for this as well?
Second, I've heard that the original airport cards have a way of burning out, So I had hoped to avoid this, if possible, since they are expensive and becoming rarer. Does anyone have tips on accomplishing this?
Third, along the same lines of the second is I had thought that a fan might help with keeping the airport card from burning out. I had heard that there was a third party fan that could be attached to a slot loading iMac. Does anyone know of such a thing, and where I might find one?
Brian
