Considering purchasing (for very cheap, I'm sure)
an older bondi blue imac. It's described as having
a flyback problem with the monitor part, but the
rest of the computer works fine. I don't even know
what a flyback is... what's involved in fixing an
imac with this problem? Cost of part(s) and how
complicated would the procedure be for an amateur
like me? No need to be detailed about repairing
(right now)... just looking for advice on whether
it's worth the trouble. Only looking for an older
iMac to run 9 for kids' games.
