I have one computer that is a Imac g3 333. We had a bad storm yesterday that put out the power all night. We tried to connect to the internet today and found that that telephone line that the computer was hooked to was dead. Another jack on that same line was ok. I hooked the computer up to a fully working line and now the modem dial but does not connect. I get a message that the modem is not responding properly. I've checked everything I could think off. Does it sound like my modem got zapped out? Is there any thing I might try? I even ran Norton on a slim chance.
Thanks, Betsy
