Well people on this discussion are talking about 350 slot loaders
but I saw nothing about doing so on models without FW. There are
350MHz slot loading iMacs with and without FW.

Really? I'd love to see the specs. The only two I know of are the
Blueberry and the Indigo. The blueberry is airport-capable, but the
indigo is not. Neither have a DV drive, VGA out, or Firewire in
their stock configuration.
I help out at a school where we have lots of Indigo 350 MHZ DV iMacs
and lots of Indigo 350 MHz iMacs with no Firewire (or VGA out). I
don't know what you mean by a DV drive but they all have CD-ROM drives
only.

Ah, sorry, I meant to say DVD drive. My error. I was referring to
your earlier comment that there are some 350MHz iMacs with firewire and
some without. I have never seen or heard of a 350MHz iMac with
firewire.
