I would like to clarify - I did not see the specific mention to ONE SINGLE 512 MB stick. That will *not* work. I read, on Apple Discussions, a thread where it was explained that the logic board can only recognize 2x 256MB sticks, not one 512 or 2x 512. Somebody tried, but it did not work, and only showed up as half. This thread has been archived off by now, but you can ask again for a more detailed explanation, hopefully.
