Has anyone used XPostFacto to install Tiger on a tray load iMac? I have a 333 MHz iMac that I have to reformat the drive on. I've been running 10.2 on it, but I was going to upgrade to 10.3 when I reformat. That got me thinking, if I'm going to upgrade, how well does 10.4 Tiger work on it?
I know it isn't a supported machine, but I believe XPostFacto will allow me to install Tiger on it. Has anyone done it? Is there any speed hit? The machine has 384 MB of ram in it (it won't go any higher, I can't get the lower slot to take a 256 MB chip). Should I bother, or just stick with 10.3? -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
