That's good to know. I'll just pop the hard drive into my firewire case 
and do the install from my iMac DV that officially supports Tiger. That 
will make life easier :-)

I can say that 10.2 seems to drag on it, but I did notice my iMac DV felt 
much snappier when I went from 10.2 to 10.3, so assuming you are right, 
10.4 hopefully will give me the same difference to the "feel" on the 333 
tray loader when going from 10.2.

I have some other 256 MB chips to try out, I may have just had bad luck 
with the ones I've tested so far. I have two 233 iMacs running with 512 
MB, so I'm pretty confident I can get the 333 to do it too... I just need 
to spend a little more time fighting it.

Thanks for the info, it has given me enough of a push to be willing to 
give it a try going all the way to Tiger.
