I'll see if I can find one with more juice in it... meanwhile, it looks like I've tracked it to the IDE 0 bus failing to mount anything connected to it. It is doing this in two different Rev A's now. Could the battery cause this problem? I wouldn't think so. I could see it keeping it from booting, but once I have it booted, it still won't mount anything on IDE 0's bus (it admits the device is there however in the System Profiler). Since this persists after boot, could it still be caused by the battery? I did swap the battery between iMacs when I did the testing. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
