The downloaded file was corrupted. Probably a telecom issue.
Trash the DMG file you have and re-download it. Get it from APPLE
not via some 3rd party.

Note please that this combo updater is 970.2 MB in size. Once you
have downloaded it, do a get-info and check the size... It should be
*exactly* 1,024,680,576 bytes.
