Jim, I have a user with a similar problem only he's not using the KWM. We're running Imail 6 and he's using Outlook as his client setup for IMAP4. He has messages that are randomly disappearing too. Any ideas?

Very Interesting Problem Good morning, We are running Imail 7.13 and KWM 7.13 on a NT2000 SP2 box with about 500 accounts. I called Tech support at IPSwitch and HumanKind before the merger about this problem but never heard back from either (other than IpSwitch saying the felt it was a KWM issue). I am in my inbox looking at my mail. 10 spam messages and 10 real messages. Message #1 is spam, #2 is real, #3 is spam, #4 is real and so on. I click the box next to the spam messages (#s 1,3,5,7,9...). I answer my phone (takes 10 seconds) and then click on the delete button. Now the very interesting problem. Messages 2,4,6,8,10... are deleted. The real ones! What happened? A new message arrived in the meantime but was not displayed on screen. So when my web page submission said "Delete messages index #1,3,5,7,9... it had already re-indexed my messages to reflect the new messsage. Seems that the mail is somewhere indexed with the most recent message being #1 (wherein I would think a programmer would say the oldest message would best be numbered #1 as it changes less frequently. Either way, I have lost some very important messages as have other people in our organization. (I've convinced some of them it was a "User Induced Error" but some are too smart for that). Still not sure if it is a KWM or IMail problem but thougth I would submit at KWM this time in writting since the last time via phone may have gotten lost. (I still do like the KWM product and do hope IpSwitch does right by the product. Lots of people on this mailing list think very highly of the people at HKSI it seems.) Thank you for reading about this most interesting problem.
