Has anyone seen the facilities within IMail to have "variables", that are
queries again an odbc source maybe. Here's an example of what I mean. Say
someone is sending out a mailing to all their customers:
Dear #FirstName#,
We have released a new version of MailServerDeluxe, according to our
records you are still running #ProudctVersion#.
(now for the part I know IMail doesn't do, but I would like if it did :)
# IF $Date - PurchaseDate < 60 then "Since you have owned this product less
than 60 days, this is a free upgrade!" else "You can purchase the update
for $99 on our web site"#
The second half may be a bit overboard, but I would at least like to be
able to include variables without having to write a mail handler.
