I apologize for not being clearer.
If you used something like perl (or wrote a script in anything
really) it would have dynamic content as you wanted.
It is actually a pretty trivial matter in that regard - much
easier than say a mail merge in a word processor once you work
out the database properly.
I don't often do these types of mailing...too much like spam
for my tastes, but I have sent out mailings with upwards of
twenty variables per message. Usually takes under an hour
to write the script, set up the database and run the script.
But I would not want my mail server to do all of that...
too much overhead and not enough tools.
