Hello All,
I'm new to the list so forgive me if this has been a topic that has been
covered already. I am running imail server 4.06. Recently, i have recieved
emails from some web site that tells me one of my servers is an open relay
and that I need to do something about it. Else, spammers will abuse the
servers... I figured it was time to close the relay, so I downloaded the
imail manual. I read about the smtp security features and anti-spamming
section. Ok now to my problem. I provide email services to more than 1
domain. How do I close the open relay without closing the door to my
customers. I cannot seem to get the setting right. If i choose no relay than
noone can send mail. If i choose open relay to for everyone and check off
some of the options on the right like reject null senders, it does not seem
to change my status of open relay.
Any suggestions or solutions will be appreciated,
