What options do you have set on the smtp securities tab. I receive the
following message.
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test
Sent: 8/6/99 11:10 AM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 8/6/99 11:10 AM
The recipient name is not recognized
(000B099C) 550 not local host xxx.edu, not a gateway
This was a test message i tried sending to a friend at a university. I have
a valid email address as the reply address. I had the no relay option
checked. It seems to me that imail is looking at the recipient domain. Then
its trying to verify the recipients address.

Hmm that sounds strange? If your users have a correct (valid email address
from a domain on your server) as there reply to address in there email
client then they should have no problems sending mail through? I think?
seemed to work fine for me... anyone else?
