OK, Guess I will take some flake, but while I hate to see price increases, I do not see where paying $995/yr for an unlimited Standalone Imail SA is that much?  No, I have not looked into Smartermail as we have around 300 domain and over 5000 email accounts running on our Imail server and I am not looking to change things at this point.  If the web interface is what it is cracked up to be, that price does not bother me too much.  We have a Barracuda Firewall sitting in front of our Imail box, so it takes care of most of the spam and virus issues, but we also have Declude running to double check for any missed viruses.  We are pleased with our system and how it is functioning.

Thanks,

Grant Griffith

That would pretty much clinch Imail server as being extortionware in my book. There's simply no reason in my mind that we should be pay another 50% increase for an SA two years in a row. I think I'll look into investing in Smartertools as they're about to get another big boost in revenue.

To be honest, Kevin did mention what the prices would be close to, however I
was in my car driving home after being at a client for 6 hours and I was
tired and hungry, so I do not remember what numbers he said, but I will say
that either the 1000 user SA or unlimited user SA will have a MSRP of about
$995.

Decisions are best based upon facts as opposed speculation.

Why the mystery about the new cost of SA? Why can't IPSwitch be
upfront, rather than sell the idea of buying an SA at the prevailing
cost?
