Yes, this indicates a problem. We run about 125-150K messages a day
(96-98%) filtered out by Declude, but in general we only have approx 300 or
so files in the spool. I have my QueueMon settings to alert us when it gets
over 500.
You need to start looking at those files and figure out what is wrong.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Spool size
How many files are too many in the spool? Our backup mail server's spool
seems to grow by the day, and is currently at 56K files. The file types
vary, but does this suggest a problem somewhere?
Thanks,
Todd
