Hi Adam,

We do not back up any of the PC's,(about 300), Users work from and save to 1 of
many file servers for their normal daily work, however the majority of them are
currently on POP email and that being stored on the local pc, I have no control
over it, So I am in the process of changing them to IMAP, so at least I can
backup their mail, as Email has become a vital business tool for us, and the
need to safegaurd users email is becoming a concern for me.

Granted the disk space need is going to be huge and will only get bigger,
currently my server is a Dell power edge 2600 with 1.5Gb ram, Dual 3.0 Ghz
Xeon, with 145 Gb disk space, I am about to add 2 x 146 Gb disk to it to
increase the available space in readiness to move more of my pop users to Imap.

I am running Imail 8.22 (eagerly awaiting the next patch to 2006) with ASSP as
my anti spam software.

Gordon.
