So what happens if it doesn't fix it? BFD. You've only spent a couple of minutes, and it's helped IPswitch by eliminating a possible source of the problem, thereby allowing them to concentrate on other possible causes and getting you a solution that much quicker.  On the other hand, it might actually fix your problem.

I hear that but when you've got a brand new dell server that passes every hardware check there is you're a bit hesitant to throw a $50 NIC in to replace redundant/teaming NIC's.

Not to excuse Ipswitch, but with previous versions of Imail I have seen this
problem fixed by using a different NIC. I'd spend the 5 minutes to throw an
old NIC in there just for giggles.
