Yes. I agree, start with email, then when you can get on the phone. True, you’ll reach folks who know the basics but at least you’ll have someone on the phone and get a much faster response than with email alone. Just my opinion.   Troy D. It’s a new host that’s missing a Reverse PTR record.   As for your problem, yes, it does work. Yes - they are using DNSBLs now.  The one in particular that go tme was SORBS.  Out Colo facility has a TTL of lower than 43200 on our PTRs.  This is unacceptable according to SORBS.  The Colo was very cool in getting the changes made, but turnaround time at SORBS is roughly 24-48 hours.
