..What exactly do they mean by "valid sender information"

  Good question. 
  The only example they gave to me so far was a blank To address. 

..they  have  accepted both the Sender (MAIL FROM) and 
..Recipient (RCPT TO) addresses.

  I pointed this out to them but they claimed the 
  check is not performed until after the DATA is

  I agree. 

  The next I did was open a TELNET session from the 
  mail server to the relay server. I used a valid 
  FROM address and a valid TO address. But I still 
  got the "554 message refused" error. I have sent 
  the TELNET session transcript to the relay server 
  customer support. 

  Here is the session transcript. Did I miss something?
