Unfortunately I have McAfee's Webshield in front of my server on the same box. There is no way for me to drop mail destined for invalid recipients since it just passes through after virus/content filtering. This has caused a lot of bounce backs from within my server also. I had to put a rule in place to delete the emails with the bounce so that it is not passed back and forth.
I am currently looking into Iron Port and Barracuda Spam Firewall to replace Webshield. I would certainly think either one of these solutions has the ability to do what you suggest.
