Thanks for all the responses. I've decided to go w/ Western Digital My Book
2TB World Edition strictly based on price. (this is only for testing). For
some reason WD feels that you must use their MioNet software in order to
access the drive, but after a few google searches I was able to figure out
the ssh access, got in and setup nfs. Things work very well on windows
servers when connecting to the share, however when I'm trying to mount it in
VMWARE client it gives an error that "This mount does not support NFS 3
using TCP". I checked and it is does support NFS 3, but I think its using
UDP and for the life of me can not figure out how to force it to use TCP.
Any ideas?

We just had two Buffalo Terastation's in for repair. The overall service
was
poor - three weeks to receive replacement units. Both products died after
one and half years in normal service due to a problem with the raid
firmware.
I would not buy from them again...
