[IMail Forum] Maximum user id length & outlook express

Does anyone know what the max user id length for outlook express is?

I have a user who cannot send mail using
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
    but can using
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

I have not been able to find this documented anywhere in the Microsoft web
site.
