David, Like other's have suggested, we had our support@ address set up as an alias to forward the mail to all appropriate people. Each member of the support team was responsible for Cc:'ing back to support@ so that everyone knew that the customer had been answered. If you are running into problems with concurrency, then one of 2 items apply: 1. You are large enough to move beyond an email-based system, and invest into a proper ticketing system that processes email messages for you. 2. You have too many support folks on the clock at any one time. Time to trim the fat :) Just my .02, -Troy ** -----Original Message----- ** From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ** [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of David ** Sent: Saturday, April 29, 2000 9:20 AM ** To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ** Subject: [IMail Forum] One Mailbox, multiple, possible concurrent users. ** ** ** Hi all, ** ** Let's say I have a [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailbox and I would ** like for my staff (8 people) to answer the incoming emails... ** ** how would it work? is it possible? ** ** One thing I wouldn't want to happen is that more than 1 of ** the staff members responding to the same email. ** ** I'm new to email managing so excuse the possible silly question. ** ** Thanks. ** Amatrice ** ** ** __________________________________________________ ** Do You Yahoo!? ** Talk to your friends online and get email alerts with Yahoo!
