Ok.....I'm running into a VERY serious problem. This is causing us no end of
grief.
I am running iMail 6.03, just recently upgraded. Some mails are getting
through virtually instantly, and some are taking DAYS to be delivered on the
SAME mail server to the same virtual host. There is absolutely zero in the
KB about this sort of issue. I have had more problems with the iMail server
line of products than I ever had on my WORST day with MS Exchange. As time
goes on, I am getting more and more frustrated with iMail and the lack of
support I get from the telephone guys. All I get is "you must buy a service
agreement, or we won't help you". This is unacceptable. When I pay almost
$700 for a piece of software, I expect the company to stand behind their
product. Period. Even MS will help you over the phone, albeit at a $95 per
incident call. Plus I have Technet at my disposal. IpSwitch offers nothing
of this sort and the KB is woefully lacking in useful help for my problems.
To put it bluntly, If you're out there IpSwitch, support your product and
help me with my problems.

NT uses the \winnt\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS file before checking DNS, so
an entry there could shortcut DNS!
