Actually this may or may not be the case Frank. Bad MX records,
etc. can cause such. I have seen MX records pointing to an IP
address instead of a valid machine name cause several servers to
go nuts. Not just Imail. Do a dig on some of the domains in question
and see if you come up with anything different than what Imail is
showing in the logs.
I have also seen a refreshed DNS cache do wonders for stuff like
this.
