Imail 5.09 running fine, no problems overall.
Netscape Messenger email client problem:
When sending/fetching popmail, all users (mac/linux/windows) are asked for
their password. For most users, the password is sent to the server and the
session proceeds normally and successfully. For some Windows users (using
same 4.73 version of Netscape Communicator), there is a second stage of
authentication in which they are asked for username / password and they are
unable to get past this request for authentication - no entry is accepted
as valid.
Does anyone know what causes this? Some setting in "internet options"? Some
conflict between the windows logon and the username/passwd combo being sent
to IMail? Some server or identity setting in Netscape Comm. prefs?
