I have a problem with messages being picked up by the wrong e-mail program.
Let me explain.
One of my customers is a small business - home based - with a computer
shared between the parents and the kids. We am hosting their domain on our
Imail 6.02 mail server and all family members have private e-mail accounts.
For the business, they use Outlook 2000 and have set up their business
e-mail accounts to be checked there. The kids use Outlook Express for their
three e-mail accounts.
Frequently, messages to the kids end up in the Outlook inbox and business
requests are picked up by Outlook Express even though accounts are
explicitly seperate.
They have an @home cable connection and also three @home e-mails, split
between the two programs. Those accounts never get confused, only the e-mail
accounts I am hosting in i-mail. Which is why I am posting here, before
going to the microsoft outlook/outlook express support groups.
Basically, I am wondering if there is anything I can do for this client to
prevent the e-mails from getting mixed up.
Thanks,
Tor
