>Hello, we are going to buy a mail server. We expects to have about >150,000 users at the begining. Ok, I would like to know, if there's somebody >who works with this number of users, and how "imail" runs with it. One user reported here he had 250,000 mail accounts on one Imail server and 25 gigabytes of traffic per day. He had huge quad xeon machine with under 5% utilization. He sent his outgoing mail through a Unix box for delivery to Internet. He had no web messaging activity, if I recall correctly. Others run with 100,000 mail accounts. You should be ok with 150,000 accounts, althought if you plan to allow or encourage Web messaging, your results may be different.
