Try this:
Save the attachment to disk (say, in C:\TEMP\WORDFILE.DOC).
Open your web browser
Go to the location "C:\temp\wordfile.doc". See what happens. If you don't see the
Word document, that means that your browser and computer are not configured to be able
to view Word documents through the web.
