That's one of the problems with the SMTP-based anti-virus solutions.  It's
also one of the reasons why we're working on Declude Virus to complement our
Declude JunkMail, which will allow you to scan the mail after IMail receives
it and before it is delivered.  That way, you get to keep all your IMail
anti-relay settings.  IMail will see the IP address of the sender, rather
than the IP address of the virus scanner, and handle anti-relay
appropriately.  It also avoids the temptation of have the SMTP-based
anti-virus software relay for addresses, and having roaming users connect
directly to IMail to authenticate, which can allow viruses to slip through.
