The people who are logging-in are iusing all kind of ISPs, dialups, leased
lines, .... We've currently got 80,000 members, (they are all students, so
some are accessing from home, some from uni, etc.)
I think we used to get this ocassionally when we had just 16,000 members but
we could live with it. We've been signing up over 5000 members a day and
over the past few weeks it's gone crazy with sessions being dropped left
right and center.
It is happening too frequently to be 12 minute timeout.
I suspect there is probably some manua tweaking I can do. with
threads/registry but I don't know any specifics.
in the W1 logs when it fails to login i get:
<date> <time> 2AUTH ERROR <ip address> 0 invalid user
Xa5fd98ce98ce98c99442fa2b <ip address> <username>
when it boots people out it looks like I get :
<date> <time> AUTH ERROR <username> <ip address> 0 - Failed Authentication
