I had noticed that as well. When I first started up 6.04, it was requiring
Auth from both relay addresses and non-relay addresses (namely, me at
home). IMail then quit sending Auth requests to local addresses, although
Auth was apparently still working for non-relay addresses as I could send
from home. Is it possible that Auth reporting had simply become disabled
but because my client was configured to always Auth that I was still able
to get through?
Sounds like I'll have to watch the logs more closely and see if Auth
reporting stops again so I can test the situation more thoroughly.
