If you leave that open relay open, you will be open to some very difficult
times.  When I first started working with mail servers, we caught this every
now and again, but didn't worry about it.  Until one day the spammers came
and our customers couldn't get their mail through.

Set Relay for IP addresses and put you groups in there following the
instructions in the manual, then have your customers not able to relay by IP
set outbound smtp authentication.

You'll sleep better...
