Let me just make a quick observation. A couple of months back I admitted I
was allowing open realy on my Imail server while I worked out the problems
I was having with Auth and internal users. This was only to be a few
days. Within 24 hours of the posting on this list, the mail server was
used as a relay and 13,000 messages went out.
I would advise everyone to remember this is an open list, there are people
who I suspect monitor it for nothing more than to find systems in trouble
and take advantage of them. Maybe I am just paranoid, but remember, just
because you are not paranoid doesn't mean people aren'nt out to get you.
Be careful what you tell everyone in a public forum. Sometimes it is best
to take the discussion off-line when it concerns some topics.
