Yep, that is the way it is supposed to work. But with a rule, one cannot be
sure, so I suggest you get rid of your rules and forwards and see if it
works, delivering directly to a local mailbox. If you get all the mail in
that box, then work on your rules. Of course, if it does not work, then you
will have to try to fix and that means an upgrade (seems your POP3 server
responds with V5.01, way old!). V5.0x went to 5.09 along the way and today
we are all talking about V6.05. Only way to get fixes for your V5.0x is the
free upgrades on the web site (5.04 and 5.09 patches) or if you want the
current version, purchase a Service Agreement and get 6.05 plus 1 yr of
phone support and all other upgrades in that year.
