I'm having a bit of trouble configuring smtp relay permissions. Currently I
have "relay for local hosts only" selected and have used an accept.txt file
to allow some exceptions. So far this has worked fine but up until now I
have only been adding additional host domains to accept.txt (domain.com
etc). Now I need my firewall to send it's logs via this smtp server. The
firewall doesnt have a reply address so I'm unable to add another domain
name to the list, I now need to add an IP address. I've added the firewalls
IP to the accept list but it will not forward. I need to stick with local
hosts only as users come from various IP's using different ISP's etc.
Any ideas?
accept.txt looks something like this:
domain1.com
domain2.co.uk
195.82.105.175
